The Associated General Contractors Of Tennessee

DECEMBER 2022

AGC of Tennessee would not be the organization it is without our amazing members.  Through member support and participation, AGC of Tennessee continues to build a brighter future for contractors and their partners in Tennessee.  Each month we will be spotlighting members who eximplify what it means to be an AGC member.  We hope you will check back and learn more about our spotlight companies each month.

Meet our December Spotlight Members

Blaine Construction Corporation is a general contractor member in our Knoxville Region.  This long time AGC member, founded in 1969, provides general contracting, construction management and pre-engineered metal building services, with a market focus on commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-family housing.  Blaine employees can be found at all AGC events, including trainings, luncheons, social outings, and the Build Knoxville Awards.  Blaine will be even more involved in 2023 as Drew Polahar becomes the next AGC of Tennessee – Knoxville Region Board President.  We are grateful to Blaine for their partnership with AGC as they share their core values of safety, integrity, passion, and commitment.  Great members make AGC the top association that it is.  Learn more here.

Our December specialty contractor spotlight company is Middle Tennessee Region member C&R Services.  Recognized by the Nashville Business Journal among the Woman-Owned Businesses of the Year, Veteran-Owned Businesses of the Year, and Small Businesses of the Year, this new AGC member is already super involved with AGC.  In addition to their commitment to AGC, C&R’s owner Tiffany Wondrow currently serves as NAWIC president. She helps strengthen the bond between the associations which helps to move both forward. We are so excited to have C&R Services as a member and look forward to a long-lasting relationship.  Read more about C&R Services.

West Tennessee Region member Scott Equipment Company is our December supplier in the spotlight. This company has been around for over 80 years and likes to remind its customers that they are “not behind you, but beside you.”  This motto is true when it comes to their AGC membership, as well.  Scott Companies hosted several sessions of the 2022 Construction Leadership Academy, opening their boardroom and even supplying a home-cooked meal for the students and instructors! Jason Cagle with Scott Companies currently serves on AGC of Tennessee - West Tennessee Region’s Board of Directors as an Associate Representative. We appreciate their support of AGC and their willingness to help with events and activities that make us a better association. Get to know Scott Equipment Company.
