Knoxville region member Whitson Construction Co., Inc. is our August General Contractor in the spotlight.  A multi-generation family business, Whitson Construction has built a reputation for providing exceptional construction services to their clients in the healthcare and commercial markets of East Tennessee. Whitson Construction is committed to the construction industry as a whole and fostering its growth in the next generation. Verdant Commercial is our August Specialty Contractor in the spotlight.  This Middle Tennessee region member is an emerging Nashville-based company, recently launching its operations with the aim of revolutionizing Commercial Landscape Construction. SPEC Building Materials Corporation

Our August Supplier/Service Provider Contractor Member in the Spotlight is Horne, LLP.  A member in our West Tennessee region, Horne does all it can to promote the association and support it at the local and state levels. Assurance Manager Jack Breland with HORNE’s Memphis office, serves on the Board of Directors as a representative for the Construction Leadership Council, and supports its efforts by attending and helping plan events that bring our members together for fun and networking. Jack also teaches one of the most popular and informative sessions on Construction Accounting for the Construction Leadership Academy. It’s not unusual to find Jack attending the state convention each year in Florida, networking with members from across Tennessee and discussing impacts on the construction industry.  Learn more here.
