SEPTEMBER 2024
AGC of Tennessee would not be the organization it is without our amazing members. Through member support and participation, AGC of Tennessee continues to build a brighter future for contractors and their partners in Tennessee. Each month we will be spotlighting members who exemplify what it means to be an AGC member. We hope you will check back and learn more about our spotlight companies each month.
Meet our September Spotlight Members
Hardaway Construction is our September General Contractor in the Spotlight. Established in 1924 in Nashville, TN, Hardaway has evolved from a small home builder to a large commercial general contracting company. Nine decades later, they remain Nashville’s respected construction veteran with projects built through teamwork and relationships built on trust. Winner of the 2024 General Contractor of the Year Award in our Middle Tennessee Region, Hardaway Construction provides comprehensive design, construction, and management services with a commitment to value and transparency. They employ a collaborative approach in all client relationships, with a keen focus on bringing their vision to reality: on budget and on time. You can find Hardaway at many AGC events, so be sure and get to know this great member!
It’s important for any association to have members it can count on. A great example is our September Subcontractor Spotlight, long-time member Hollingsworth Paving. Very active in our West Tennessee Region, Hunter Pegram with Hollingsworth Paving is completing his term as their President this December, and Perry Shropshire with the company is also serving on the CLC Planning Committee. At almost any West Tennessee Region event, you’ll find Hollingsworth Paving sending volunteers to assist with registration or staffing Beverage Carts (thanks Danielle, Rachel and Tessa!). Hollingsworth Paving recognizes the important relationship between our local and state offices, and generally attends the state conference each year in Destin.
