skill, responsibility, and integrity.

Tri-Cities AGC membership includes a
total of 232 firms who have offices within a 100-mile radius of the
Tri-Cities area. Of this number, 21 are
General
Contractors Members, 130 are
Subcontractors/Specialty Contractors, and 81 are

members each month in all membership categories. Even though General
Contractor members are the smallest in number of the three
membership categories, they provide the branch with the largest
financial support.
-
-
Membership Categories Include:

firm capable of performing as a prime contractor.
Application
Provisional General Contractor – A
three-year program intended to attract new general contractor
members to the association through a dues reduction incentive.
Application
Subcontractor/Specialty Contractor –
Firms who provide jobsite labor that are not general contractors.
Application
Supplier/Service Provider – Not a
construction firm. Such firms shall include suppliers of materials,
equipment or other products or professional or other services to the

Educational Training

Tri-Cities AGC
is committed to playing a stronger role in addressing the need
for a trained construction workforce. As skilled tradesmen and
field personnel are nearing retirement age at an alarming rate,
we realize our industry has workforce challenges; therefore, we
are striving to meet the need of educating and retaining young
people in a career in construction. We have a close, working
relationship with the Construction Technology Department at East
Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.
