The AGC Knoxville Branch offers educational seminars on a variety of construction related topics throughout the year.

Currently we are offering one of our most important courses, our Supervisory Training Program (STP) course. The STP curriculum creates an unmatched learning experience for participants.
  • Each STP course has a Participant's Manual and an Instructor's Guide.
  • Every STP course is activity-based, with discussions, case histories, problems, and exercises.
  • Participants in STP courses draw upon their field experience and learn by interaction with others from all areas of the construction industry.

Two units are offered each year, one in spring and fall.

This Winter/Spring 2012 session we are offering STP Unit 2: Oral and Written Communications. The skills and concepts in the STP Courses are designed for field supervisors and journeyman who aspire to become field supervisors and others who work with field supervisors such as subs, estimators, safety directors, field secretaries, project managers, owners, architects and engineers.
